Introduce balance in your life and reap

many health benefits

Life today is fast changing and hectic. There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to do everything you have to do.

For your health and well being you must have balance in your life.

Are all your energies focused on your career? Or the kids ? Or your partner? If so you need to look at how you can even things out with the other areas of your life that deserve attention.

MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF. It’s not selfish to want some “me” time. In fact, it should be one of your priorities. Why not make an appointment with your self? Mark it up on the calendar so that you give it the same importance as any other appointment.

MANAGE YOUR STRESS LEVELS. Stress has such a detrimental effect on your health. Some stress is unavoidable, it’s part of life, but how you deal with it is critical. You must learn to manage your stress better. Try to fit in at least ten to twenty minutes of stress management practice every day. You could try some self massage, an aromatherapy bath using some relaxing essential oils. For something more structured you could learn some meditation techniques or go to a yoga or tai chi class. Even something as simple as taking ten deep breaths can make a difference.

GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP. Quality sleep is vital for your health and well being. Here are some tips for getting regular, quality sleep:

SEE THE POSITIVE. Life is full of ups and downs, that’s just the way it is. There is no such thing as a perfect life. Accept it. When something unplanned happens, such as redundancy, look on it as an opportunity not a disaster.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.Don’t live in isolation. It is a wonderful feeling to have people in your life who can enrich it in so many ways.

Making new healthy habits, and getting rid of some old, bad habits can make a real difference to your life. These will support your complementary medicine treatment with Ailsa.
